Salary Range: $73,078 - $75,417

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Room Leader to lead the team and deliver high-quality early childhood education and care. You will guide pedagogical practice aligned with contemporary evidence, upholding the National Quality Standards and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

The role involves leading planning and programming, mentoring educators, role-modelling practices, and engaging with families to foster a supportive environment.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications & Checks

• ACECQA approved Diploma level qualification or actively working towards one in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Valid 'Employee' Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
• Completed Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting online learning.
• Willingness to consent to a Police Check.

Experience & Knowledge

• Demonstrated experience as an Early Childhood Room Leader.
• Proven ability to deliver a high-quality play-based educational program.
• High-level understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework, Education Care Services National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Framework, and Child Safe Standards.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with staff, children, families, and communities.
